Ministry Opportunities

Jesus told us, his Disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Childers Wesleyan Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Childers Wesleyan members are involved in a variety of Ministries from things as simple as cleaning the Church, teaching Religious Education in the local schools and conducting our Church orchestra.

Mission Outreach

Childers Wesleyan Methodist is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s Kingdom around the world. We are active in sending Missionaries and supporting these Missionaries with our money and with our prayers. Currently we support two missionary families.

Don’s role is primarily to support the National Church in building, maintenance and training in basic building techniques.

Don also maintains Mission and Church computers, teaching PNG Pastors necessary computer skills.

Cheri has much of her time taken with the education of three boys, as no other suitable education alternative is available. The boys do their schooling through the NSW distance education system.

Cheri also continues to play a crucial role in the support of the National Church’s Women’s Ministry and teaches Health and Nutrition in the Bible School.

God-honouring Worship is something we strive for. Many Church Members get involved in our Music Ministry. Some play their instruments while others are vocalists.  We are blessed to have our very own Church Orchestra lead by talented Church Members. These volunteers are an important part of the Ministry of Childers Wesleyan Church, using their talents and gifts to Glorify God.
